I bought these Spiegelau Bordeaux glasses to replace a set of Riedel glasses I had, but over time managed to break all of them. I love these glasses. They seem to be a little thicker than the Riedel glasses and I’m hopeful this means they won’t break as easily. They are very clear and of great quality.

|Great glasses, good alternative to Riedel bordeaux,
I chose to buy these because I read reviews that they’re similar to Riedel bordeaux glasses, but much less breakable. I had a set of 4 Riedel glasses that I LOVED but, sadly, one by one, they all broke. I wanted to buy a new set of nice wine glasses to replace them. These glasses are half the price of the Riedel glasses.
I can tell the difference between the shape of these glasses and the Riedel glasses, but I still like these. They are still delicate and the crystal is thin (in a good way), but no breaks so far. Very happy with this purchase. Especially the 4 for 3 glass deal.
